People in power have undermined minorities creating injustice among people within a society.
One of the main reasons why I moved to the United States was that the ethnic system was relatively fair. However, I think absolute fairness is just a dream. About two years ago, I went to Nevada with three other friends. I did all the plans, I also booked all the rooms in the app; therefore, I booked the room from someone else’s home. The first two days are OK. We had a pleasant break. On the third day, we went to Austin, a town of about 200 people in central Nevada. We booked a room in the house. But when we arrived at the house, things went wrong. When I went downstairs and talked to the owner and asked him to get the room, my room was “no space for the Chinese” and a door closed. When we contacted the app, none of us received any payment, or even sorry. Because this small village is not a popular tourist destination, it is not a tourist time. Only the hotel is open at the annex. We only had to drive for another hour to go to the attached town.
Before this incident happened, I actually thought about the problem of being discriminated against. After all, there are too many different peoples in the United States. But when it really happened to me, I was very angry. The United States I know about the countries that foreigners are relatively acceptable to, I did not expect such a thing to happen. Also in some people’s minds, there is no equality between races? All I can do is to do it myself and try to integrate into this society!

Wow! I am honestly very surprised with your story because the person was so bluntly racist and didn’t see anything wrong with how they treated you. I think it’s even more absurd because I just recently learned in my history class that racism was created by rich people a long time ago to divert the attention of “class” issues, meaning racism in general is a made up issue. So in theory, there is no reason for that guy to dislike Chinese people. Also, driving through Nevada a lot when I used to live in Oregon, I can concur to the fact that the people there are kinda weird, so honestly I don’t think it has anything to do with you!
